An English silver Ecuelle and Cover.
A silver Ecuelle, in the 18th century manner, London 1933, by L.A. Crichton. The lid is engraved with the arms, and the base with the crest, of Ferguson. The base is engraved with a scratch weight which would suggest that the ecuelle was originally supplied with a plate.
