Collectors' Societies:-  The website of the Antique Metalware Society. A society of scholars and collectors of base metalwares. A journal is published annually and regular meetings are held, usually in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.     The website of the Silver Society. Based in London, this is a society of scholars and collectors of silver wares which publishes a journal, 'Silver Studies', annually and holds regular meetings with fascinating lectures.

Amongst many other websites for collectors, I would recommend:

The website of The Society of Jewellery Historians

The Wine Label Circle

The website of a collector of 18th century sugar nippers, which were almost invariably referred to at the time as Tea Tongs.

A website devoted to the later 'Bow' form of 'Tea Tongs' introduced in the third quarter of the 18th century.

The Society of Caddy Spoon Collectors.

The website of the Victoria and Albert Museum, in South Kensington, London has an excellent section with advice on the care and cleaning of antique metalwares

FAMILY SITES:-  Whilst retaining her existing silver and silver-plate shops at the London Silver Vaults, Vaults 53, and 55, Linda now has a new shop with jewellery.

A good friend and a dealer of many years has just set up a website for her stock of glass lighting and other items.
